Welcome to Jasmarie Flightmakers

Specialist Supplier of Screw Flights

At Jasmarie Flightmakers we specialise in the manufacture of Sectional Flighting/Auger Flighting. Screw flights are used predominantly to dig and to convey material. Our core business is the design, fabrication, manufacture and supply of screw flights to a range of industries, such as bulk handling, chemical, mining, agricultural, digging auger and the piling industry. We do not manufacture complete systems, which enables us to deliver high quality flighting and outstanding service to our customers. Our customers particularly value this uniqueness as we are the only flightmaker in Australia that does not compete for complete systems, and thus there is no conflict of interest.

Archimedes Screw

A machine historically used for transferring water from a low-lying body of water into irrigation ditches. It was one of several inventions and discoveries traditionally attributed to Archimedes in the 3rd century BC.
The Archimedes Screw consists of a screw inside a hollow pipe. The screw is turned usually by a windmill or by manual labor. As the bottom end of the tube turns, it scoops up a volume of water. This amount of water will slide up in the spiral tube as the shaft is turned, until it finally pours out from the top of the tube.

Archimedes of Syracuse (c. 287 BC – c. 212 BC) was a Greek mathematician.
